本課程主要是介紹蒐集資料及分析資料的統計方法， 使學生瞭解資料分析的應用、統計套裝軟體的使用及其結果的說明。 |
Objectives |
This course is to introduce the collect of data and analysis technique . It hopes students to understand the application of data analysis, the use of statistical package, and the interpretation of the statistical analyzed results. |
| 教材 |
以深入淺出的方式，將統計學的基本概念與基礎理論作系統化介紹，使同學得以建立明晰正確的統計觀念及奠定良好的基礎。學習重點是要去了解所面對的問題、資料或數據的來源，如何整理分析資料、用何種統計方法分析資料，得到什麼樣的統計數據，該怎麼作結論或提出建議。同學除上課之理論學習外，更需學習如何利用 Excel 的統計功能來學習統計。同學透過電腦操作，不僅可以提高學習效果，更可熟習如何使用電腦來分析資料。課後亦須針對老師指定之作業進行演練，此部份將列為平時成績。 |

統計學是研究如何運用資料蒐集、整理、敘述、分析與推論等科學方法。在不確定情況下，由部分推論全體，由已知推測未知，以做出一般性的結論或最佳決策的科學。所以統計學是研究各種科學、行政管理及企業經營等必備的知識與從事分析推論的專門學術。 |

Applications of data analysis and statistical methodology are an integral part of the course. This discussion and development of each technique will be presented in an application setting, with the statistical results providing insights to decisions and solutions to problems. |
