課程目標 從60年代開始，「設計方法」才逐漸成為一門專業探討的知識，在此之前，對於設計的討論乃是獨立於方法之外的。本課程「設計方法」將從簡單的設計經驗出發，引導學生認識設計方法能為設計帶來什麼改變？一方面從程序的觀點，介紹一般性的設計流程及其內涵﹔另一方面從設計思考模型的角度，介紹設計操作時必然相關的問題、知識、工具、以及程序之內涵及互動﹔之後，將透過介紹不同的環境設計方法展現以上這些內容的實際運用。 Objectives "Design Methods" are be designed. This course will conduct students to think what design methiods benifit design by a series of design practice. After this, the course will intrduce the normal design procedure, and the components in design thinking such as design problems, design knowledge, design tool, and design process and their relationships. At last, various design methods will be ackonwledged and from these, students have to learn to orgnize themselves design methods.
教材 本課程主要教學對象為初學環境設計之學生，教學的目標除了著重於「環境設計方法」之重要觀念與知識外，並強調學生運用的能力。本課程將要求修課學生運用「設計方法」的知識，組織一個合理而有意義的設計方法，並實際操作測試。 Teaching Materials Besides learning the basic and important knowledge of design methods, students have to orgnize a good design method, test this method and report this study in class.
成績評量方式 對於學習成果的檢測，本課程將分為三個項目進行評量：
1.課堂參與：佔總成績之10%。此項目包括出席狀況及課堂上的發問、討論、與隨堂測驗。
2.期中作業報告：各佔總成績之20%，共三次，佔總成績之60%。
3.期末作業報告：佔總成績之30%。		 Grading 1.Participations and Disscussions: 10%.
2.Task Reports: 20% per task, There are three tasks.
3.The Final Report:30%.
