課程目標 本課程的目標是希望幫助學生能夠對於次數分配、集中量數、變異量數、相對地位量數…等基礎性的統計方法,具有正確的統計概念,以便能夠正確地運用統計方法。 Objectives The objectives of the course are to help students to acquire correct statistical concepts and to use statistical methods accurately for fundamental statistical methods. The fundamental statistical methods include frequency distribution, measures of central location, measures of variation, measures of relative position, etc.
教材 上課方式以講授為主,但鼓勵同學參與意見與討論。另外,每堂課都有作業,同學必須繳交作業,才能熟悉各項統計方法的運用,同學們互相的討論,對作業幫助極大。 Teaching Materials Students in this course are expected to :

教學內容 介紹教育統計學領域的主要範疇:1. 描述性統計,包括資料整理、圖表、集中趨勢、離散度等;2. 統計推論,包括機率分配、抽樣及抽樣分配、母數估計、與假設檢定;3. 介紹如何使用電腦軟體Excel進行統計運算。 Syllabus The main purpose of this course is to introduce the important concepts and techniques in educational statistics including: 1. descriptive statistics, such as how to present data, graphs & tables, central tendency, and dispersion; 2. inferential statistics, such as probability, sampling, sampling distribution, estimation of parameters, and hypothesis tests; 3. application of Excel in statistics.
