課程目標 學生將學習外語的理論以示範教學的方法來呈現,所以必須確切的掌握學習基礎語言的教學技巧。本課程設計主要是以學生為中心,為提升學生對本課程的興趣及積極參與並增加師生之間的互動
教學方式多採分組討論口語報告和示範教學等方式進行藉以加強本課程之實用性。
Objectives Students will demonstrate understanding of basic learning theory and language acquisition theory. Students are expected to master basic language teaching techniques. Most classroom tasks are designed to be student-centered, including a lot of group works, discussions, teaching demonstrations, and presentations to motivate students and maximize the interaction between the teacher and students.

教學內容 本課程主要目的是使學生對現今兒童英語教學有初步的認識. 其教學內容涵蓋英語教學法的簡介, 字母拼讀法及KK音標之介紹和教法演練, 歌謠與韻文的教法, 遊戲和輔助教具的設計與應用, 教學活動設計和教案設計, 教室管理及教室用語, 教學評量的方式等. 希望能為有志從事兒童英語教學之本系學生奠定入門基礎. Syllabus This class provides students with an introduction to contemporary Children's English teaching. It contains different teaching methods and strategies in phonics & K.K. symbols, and songs & chants. It also introduces formats of lesson plan, principles of classroom management and classroom language. Hopefully, it can familiar student teachers with the foundation of teaching English to children.
