本課程針對初入大學之學生，以其高中、高職之化學知識為基礎，簡介化學工業各方面之應用。介紹之範圍包括：塑膠、橡膠、水處理、空氣污染、界面活性劑、肥料、農藥、製藥、煉油、石油化學、人造纖維、染料、造紙、發酵、煤炭化學等各工業領域，使學生對化學之重要性與實用性有初步的認識與信心。 |
Objectives |
The course is designed for the students who have the background knowledge of college chemistry. The goal of this course is to help students understand the importance of chemistry and learn chemistry with great interest. Plastics, petroleum industry, man-made fibers industry, pharmaceutical industry, chemistry of environment, fermentation industry, and materials chemistry, etc. are all covered in the lectures. |
