Decision efficiency and effectiveness are the critical success factors in modern business management, and information technology (IT) plays an essential role in enhancing decision efficiency and effectiveness. That fact that IT has influenced business and individuals in every way is undeniable.
This course emphasizes the fundamental structure and concepts of information systems (IS) and their applications, therefore, the course contains: the basic concept of system, operation support systems, management support systems; software, hardware, peripherals; database concept and design; file organization and data processing models; the concept, applications and technologies of communication; the concept and technology of office automation; end-user computing. |
