Objectives |
This one-semester course is required for all junior students who are enrolled in the two-year evening program. The goal of this course is to help students enhance their overall English language proficiency as well as increase their workplace English skills. |

Oral reading, storytelling by students, along with listening comprehension/dictation testing. |
Teaching Materials |
Mingling exercises, pair work, team drills, oral reading and hearing tests (based on both textbook and mass media). |

Evaluation based on amount of practical English retained, in both hearing and oral aspects. |
Grading |
Nightly average (Reading and Discussion, along with Nightly Quizzes) 30%; Midterm Exam (Oral plus Written) 30%; Final Exam (Oral plus Written) 40%. |
