Objectives |
This course will provide an up-to-date survey of developments in Advanced Computer Network issues. Based on the Internet Protocol and the entire TCP/IP protocol suite, some research topics, such as IPv6, NAT, Mobile IP and SCTP, will be discussed. The basic principle of queueing theory for network performance analysis will be presented. Some hand-on experiment will be conducted to help understand the network mechanism. |
