課程目標 建築藝術根植於建築技術，而建築材料又為建築技術發展之基本原泉，故由建材之類別所達成之多采多姿之高雅建築實體，值得從事建築者(專業與學術界)一再去了解、推敲、領悟、掌握。而為提升建築創作之不二教學途徑，已達成培養優秀建築人才的目標。 Objectives The art of architecture has always been rooted in architectural technology, And the building materials have always been the essential source to the advancement of architecture technology.
Hence the objective of this course is to demonstrate how those talented architects ingeniously applied the progressive architectural technology to create the masterpieces of architecture.

教學內容 本課程說明古今建築實例是如何由善于到巧妙運用建築技術而使建築物（某些）成為人類公認的藝術品，代表人類文明的輝煌成就，再次證明技術與藝術的可融性，人文與科技的互補性。
1.木構造之發展及其藝術境界。
2.磚石構造之發展性及其輝煌成果。
3.現代建築（鋼筋混凝土、鋼、薄殼、薄膜）之最新發展及其特性。		 Syllabus
