教材 在家教育的課程設計純為個人量身訂做,同學們有指導老師協助,經過下面的步驟完成該課目。
1.同學必須嘗試各種不同的教材教學法,來設計符合個人需要的內 容。
2.製作研究報告。
3.觀察在家教育的家庭、小組及社區等。
4.資料文件的蒐集、整理及統計。
5.分組報告及探討研究報告的內容。
成果的分享。
Teaching Materials Home Schooling program is designed to be totally individualized. The process by which student will complete this course with faculty guidance will include the following steps:
1. Students will implement different approaches to meet individual learner’s needs
2. Development of the project report
3. Observation of home schooling families, group, communities, etc.
4.Working out data collection, documentation
5.Group presentation and discussion of project reports
6.Sharing project report with class

教學內容 教育改革提供在家教育工作者有機會選擇不同的教育方法。近二十年來人權高漲,人們不再忍受民主政治只淪為選舉和口頭承諾的工具。相反地,甦醒的靈魂開始檢驗他們的權利與義務,而教育是以全球性知識為基礎必須深入探討的課題之一。自由學習深深衝擊著父母親有權選擇有別於學校的義務教育外的不同課程和方法。
  這門課主要是研究教育歷史淵源如何影響人們的思維以及人們對子女潛力的重視和因材施教的力量。同時,這門課以學術研究的立場給予選課同學有機會設計及完成一份在家教育研究報告,並需要實際參訪接觸目前社會下的另類教育改革和運作情形。選課的同學也藉此建立教育工作者的哲學概念來服務所安身之命的社區。就實際參與在家教育的父母而言,他們多數是根據共同的興趣,並從不同信仰的長處中讓受教的子女獲得最大的福祉;這門課也提供了時下大學生一些理念,與實際社會上所發生的教育改革現象經驗相結合。
Syllabus The reform of education activities provides new educational alternative approaches to all parents and educators. As human rights has roared up since last twenty years, people no longer stood up there to watch democracy as means of election and lip-service. On the contrary the awakening souls spend their time to review the relative of rights and obligations. Education is one of the global knowledge-based issues need to be examined in-depth. Learning free is the impact on parents who have rights to choose alternative curricula and approaches for their children except the compulsory schooling. This course focuses on how the prospective of educational history influences on what people think and how they concern their children’s innate intelligence as well as the power of personalized instruction. In the mean time, this course is intended to provide students with an opportunity to design and conduct an independent and original school-based research project and to therefore, make a very concrete and personal connection between trends of educational reform and practice. The students will build up a sense of the role of the educator in the core sequence of philosophical background to serve their communities. To a certain degree, those who will involve in home schooling based on common interests, and diversity to profit from each other’s strengths with different beliefs. Hereby this course may be the media to let the college students experience the idea they can offer to their society in reality.
