課程目標 課程設計提供多樣的閱讀技巧與教材，並提升學生的閱讀理解與批判性的思考能力。 Objectives This course is designed to provide students with a variety of reading techniques and materials to enhance their reading comprehension and critical-thinking ability.
教材 每週兩小時 老師引導一小時 同學報告一小時 Teaching Materials Every week we have two periods. One period will be used by teacher as class analysis and the other period will be used by students as discussion time.
成績評量方式 小考 = 40%
期中考 = 30%
期末考 = 30%		 Grading Quizs = 40%
Mid-term = 30%
Final = 30%

教學內容 本學期使用四本英文小說讓同學能勤加閱讀其內容: [包法利夫人] [海灘] [刺鳥] [愛在冰雪紛飛時] 期中考前讀兩本 期末考讀兩本
上課採集体討論 讓大家分享彼此在閱讀上的樂趣 且探討作品的深度與感性		 Syllabus In this semester, students have to finish reading four novels: Madame Bovary, The Beach, Thorn Bird, and Snow Falling on the Cedar. They can share joys of reading in class and the depth and sense/sensibility will be analyzed and discussed by both teach and students.





























In this semester, it is necessary to finish reading five English novels. Four of them will be taught in class and be discussed among students. The other one will be studied by students themselves at home. There will be quizs, mid-term, and final in this semester.
There are five novels to be studied:
Madame Bovary
The Beach
Lord of Flies
Thorn Bird
Snow Falling on The Cedar
