課程目標 |
生物化學是介於生物與化學之間的邊緣學科。它主要研究構成生物體的生物大分子的組成、結構、性質和生物學功能。經由課程的學習,學生能進一步瞭解這些生物大分子在細胞內分解和合成途經及伴隨的能量轉換,遺傳資訊的傳遞和表達等,特別是在DNA的複製、轉錄、轉譯、修補及調控。透過對生物體的化學本質及其在生命活動過程中的化學變化規律學習,從而瞭解生物的生長、生殖、生理、遺傳、衰老、生命起源和進化等現象。 |
Objectives |
The lecture topics covered DNA properties and protein biosynthesis. This will focus on DNA transcription, replication, repair as well as its regulation. A major goal of this course is to help students to master those concepts, and enable students to use them to approach both classical and novel biological problems. |
