課程目標 藉由課程單元主題的講授、課堂參與討論、個案研討，結合理論探討、個案分析、適當回饋，有效幫助同學瞭解管理學的內涵、原理原則，及管理實務應用。 Objectives through topic lecturing, case stduy and proper feedback to offering students insight of various aspects of management theory and practice.
教材 上課方式：1.理論講解與討論，2.個案分析與討論 Teaching Materials  
成績評量方式 成績：個案分析書面報告與口頭報告（註1），25％；課堂參與討論（註2），25%；期中考成績，25%；期末考成績，25%（期中與期末考以英文出是非題與選擇題，各25題）
註：1. 全班共分13組，每組四至五人，各組各自準備個案分析書面報告，註明每位成員之貢獻度（0～10），在上課前繳給老師。又，在本學期中，每組輪值做一次口頭報告。個案分析應徹底及完整，注意問題的「急緩重輕」與解決辦法的優缺點。
2. 在輪值組口頭報告個案分析之後，每位同學都應參與討論。原則上，第一次發言得50分，以後每次得10分，至滿分為止。老師得視發言內容優劣調整分數。		 Grading

教學內容 教學目標：1.瞭解管理學基本理論、技術與實務，2.知道管理理論與技術在企業各部門之應用，以便有能力進一步學習各種企業功能別的管理課程。
主要內容：1. 規劃、組織、用人、領導與控制之管理理論與技術， 2. 管理之法律、倫理與社會責任，3. 其他相關議題。		 Syllabus The objective of this course is to help students to understand the major management theories, to know about the practice of management, and to lay down the foundation for advanced courses of management. The major topics include types of business, manager’s activities, management environment, decision making, management process: planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling; and organizational change.
