透過元素/尺度、尺寸與人因工程，環境/材料與構造，美學與抽象思考，機能/形式與比例等主題設計之操作，鍛鍊學生基本設計之基礎認知與設計之觀念及技巧，搭配作品展及校外參觀教學等多元之教學模式，進行進入專業建築設計之銜接教育。 |
Objectives |
The objectives of the curriculum aims to instill university freshmen with basic commands of architectural design concepts and the awareness on the essence of space layout; a facsimile range encompasses: 1.Essential elements to two-dimensional surfaces; 2.The configuration of physical bulk and styling; 3.The characteristics of three-dimensional space; 4.The essence of space and settings; 5.Preliminary exploration on architectural design. |

本次訓練的主要目標為藉由結合實驗與設計操作的練習，帶領同學對建築中的物理環境因子—即音、光、熱、氣、水—進行體驗與認識。從實際的觀察與記錄工具的發展與製作中，領會“物理環境因子 “與“建築空間 “的緊密而微妙的關係。 |
