| 課程目標 |
每個人都可能不停地想，卻不見得常常在思考。即使一個人開始思考或學習思考時，同時有相當多會影響、甚至支配思考的東西出現，諸如：成見、情緒、情感、印象等等，它們將思考引向歧途，強化了我們既有的成見或印象。此刻，我們即需要一套思考的方法，一方面不斷地修正我們的成見，另一方面更積極地建立自己的論點和主見。 |
Objectives |
Logic is the study of arguments. Logic is used in most intellectual activities, but is studied primarily in the disciplines of philosophy, mathematics, and computer science. Logic examines general forms which arguments may take, which forms are valid, and which are fallacies. It is one kind of critical thinking. In philosophy, the study of logic figures in most major areas of focus: epistemology, ethics, metaphysics. In mathematics, it is the study of valid inferences within some formal language. |

「邏輯」，是一門以推理形式為研究對象的學科。推理，是以一個或多個命題（前提）為根據或理由而得出一個命題（結論）的思維過程。因此，學習邏輯的思考方法，有助於我們對事情言論的分析，並對之作出最正確的判斷。本課程介紹邏輯的基本概念，闡釋傳統三段論為主。期望修課者在學習本課程後，得以藉之自行運用，判斷日常生活中所產生的諸多謬誤，以提升自我思辯的判斷能力。
主要內容：邏輯的基本概念、傳統三段論邏輯、范恩圖解、邏輯謬誤、諸種思維方法等。 |
Syllabus |
The aim of this couse is to train the students with the knowlegge of basic logic. Learning logic can improve our analysis and judgement about facts and ordinary speech. This couse first introduces basic conceptions of logic, then lectures traditional Syllogism. The Students should be able to use these methods for indicating the fallacies in ordinary speech, thus to advance thinking ability. |
